The lurkers are getting restless [so I'm assuming]. I haven't been posting much in the past couple weeks. "But Why?" The three of you ask. Because I've been too busy writing. Watching movies and playing 'dem vidya' games. Well, I do that all the time, but honestly I just needed a break. Life's been really crazy and fun on this end of the keyboard and I needed to realize I was missing a world out there. That and I've been planning the August 8th, 2010 Brog Anniversary posting. The likes of which could mean full-blown armageddon for this very internet in which you are surfing upon.
In the mean time...enjoy these Keanu Chops.

Damien Neva gets mega props for this one. Who would have thought the son of Harry "Keys" Meline would have made it this far?

Inception Review -- What Dreams May Come
Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:41PM
Ambition powers great artists. However, ambition doesn’t always make for great art. There are usually a lot of moving pieces in a final work and a lot of reasons why that final work came to be. Christopher Nolan’s Inception is definitely an example as to why a lot of moving pieces don’t always bear the fruit of the greatest art, but usually makes for better ideas for the medium. There are so many great aspects of Inception that I’m sure hundreds of reviews [including this one] will miss many of the finer details. Some of these details are marred by questionable pacing and character detachment. This may be one of the best movies of the summer, but that really isn’t saying much. With flaws, Inception is definitely a technical achievement in movie-making. I have to recommend it just based on how ambitious it is.

Cyrus Review -- Marisa Tomei Gave Birth To Jonah Hill?
Friday, July 16, 2010 at 7:55PM
Is it possible for a movie to be completely competent and incredibly predictable? Cyrus intends on proving around every turn, is something you have probably already thought of seconds before peering around the corner. We are also to believe that a sexually confident Molly, played by Marisa Tomei, is the mother of something resembling Jonah Hill -- who plays Cyrus. Though the casting may be a bit odd for the movie’s low budget nature, Cyrus makes for an interesting conversation while you figure out how odd or apt a reference is that John C. Reilly actually does visually favor the animated ogre, Shrek.

Commercial 'Break': If Its Terrible And You Know It Clap Your Hands!
Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 6:05PM
Its hard enough trying to explain to people what a bboy or bgirl does or what they're relevance is in the spectrum in hiphop, but when I see things like this...it hurts my feelings. Teaching people dance moves in which they can exercise, being healthy, and feeling good about themselves is a cool accomplishment few people can do well.
I know few bboys/bgirls check out my site and this is for you guys. If you see this 'Mario The Trainer' please feel free to show him how he's doing it wrong. The take his class of middle-aged moms out for ice cream.

When I ventured back home a couple weekends ago for my mother's birthday, I realized two things. One, I'm pretty sure my mom needs a website for her magical barbeque. Two, I am completely taken aback at my sister's skills at Wii Sports Resort. My sister, Janette, is twenty-two and has recently reached a milestone; she graduated high-school. My sister was practically strangled within an inch of her life at birth due to her doctor's inability to unwrap the umbilical cord from around her neck. As a result of lack of oxygen to the brain, Janette will supposedly never be able to read past a second grade level and have the ability of speech past that of a three year old. So yeah, it's kind of a big deal that she's graduating high-school and kicking my butt routinely at the many mini-games in Wii Sports Resort.
