The Brog's Best Board Game Of 2010: Memoir '44
The Brog's Best Review Of Stuff 2010: Red Letter Media "Star Wars: Episode III"
For the past couple year's Mr. Plinkett has stolen our hearts and possibly hidden them in his freezer [next to the pizza rolls]. If only my reviews could be as aptly detailed as they are long and bloated. Enjoy his newest review [as of me posting this] and be sure to visit his site and compliment the oddities you discover. If you don't, he'll kill again.
Honorable Mention: Demetry James' review of Greg Jenning's Leg being broken in Madden, His review of the Giants vs Eagles game, and his review of the Cowboys vs Vikings.
The Brog's Best Music Video Of 2010: Everything Everything's "Photoshop Handsome"
"Airbrush! What have you done to my father!" Everything Everything is a band I don't closely follow. I wouldn't even say I'm that huge of a fan of theirs, but their videos have haunted my dreams for the past two or three years. I saw this video debut last month and thought to myself, "Self, when's the last time you've had a collage-oriented nightmare." So yeah, in my eyes, they win.
Honorable Mention: Slaughterhouse "Microphone", Janelle Monae "Tightrope", Liberty University "Bed Intruder Carol", Cloud Nothings "Hey Cool Kid"
[Keep in mind that some of The Brog's selections may not necessarily been made in 2010. Its just the year I enjoyed them in and if you don't like it ... tough.]
The Brog's Best Of 2010: Short Film - Uira Lamour's "Time Warp"
Exercising a fine hand with CG animation. Uira Lamour's portfolio-building project. Truthfully, I did just make this category up and had no clue as to what or whom I'd nominate for 'Short Film' nominee's, but I've seen a lot of video on the web this year and Uira is definitely in a class of his own.
Honorable Mention: Path's Of Hate, The Gift
Personal Note: Jesse & Lea's Christmas Gift
I typically want to slash and burn any video with me dancing in it, but Mr. Jesse Cunningham did good work. This is around that time a year where I'd be writing a slew of articles reflecting on my year and things to come. After I watched this, I decided it could wait. Let's all go outside [but stay inside if its too cold] and enjoy life.
2010...its been real.
[sidenote: Lea, your mom is soo hawwwwwt]

Commercial Break: The 'Antoine Dodson' Thing Is Done
Trying to remember every event that occurred in one month is a feat, but trying to remember a year's worth is damn taxing. One thing is for sure, I can rest easy knowing that Antoine Dodson, within one year, stole the hearts of the average Youtube viewer. Within that same year, the media and sites like this have managed to make the charming Dodson one of the most over-used memes in the history of 'memery'. So it is with a heavy heart that I say, "Antoine Dodson, your 15-minutes of fame are up."
Sidenote: Don't know what's worse, this song or the fact that this is the go-to ad for the George Lopez show.
Cheers.
The Last Year Of The PSP
My last article saw a lot of activity due to disregard of its first sentence, so I’ll put the most important message in the second. I am deeply envious of PSP owners. Furthermore, I hope they continue supporting such a quality platform. With that said, the impending announcements of both the Playstation Phone and the PSP 2 in 2011 should solidify Sony’s fate in the handheld arena.
By now you’ve seen the NPD sales for November and have heard the always trustworthy predictions of market analyst, Michael Pachter. At this point in this current gaming generation, Sony’s brand is at a point of no return (no fiscal pun intended). The writing is on the wall for the companies that control the direction of both consoles and handhelds. As a byproduct, this coming year will be the last year Sony’s PSP platform(s) stand a chance of making a grand impression on consumers outside of Japan.
