Commercial Break: King Of Fighters XIII Looks Like King Of Fighters

I've always been a fan of the series, here's hoping we can forget about the travesty that was KOF XII

An even longer video is after the jump...

Commercial Break: Thundercats Movie Was Bound For Fail

With as much crap Hollywood produces, it's surprising what -- even they, won't allow for human consumption. Above we see a well animated trailer of a young Lion-O versus Slithe. You're probably thinking to yourself, "Self, where the f**k are the rest of the Thundercats?!" To this I say, you know how much Hollywood loves placating the growing, nerd-man childs of this generation?

How many origin stories have we sat through? Plenty of weak plots all so we can be bilked out of more money from movies that will eventually squeeze the last bit of blood from an uninspired stone [yes, stones can be inspired]. But hey, thanks Hollywood for not pooping out another cinematic turd...

Wait, its going to be a television show? Damn.

Enslaved Review -- Journey To Being Under Appreciated

A tale of a man, a woman and pig -- where no one gets romantically involved. Enslaved is a game that is focussed on how us humans do what we need to do for the greater good. With all this positivity and philsophical undertones, I wonder why this didn't catch on with the first-person shooter crowd.

The Fighter Review -- Formulaic Oscar Fodder

Because making an actual documentary about the real fighters, isn't as interesting as watching Mark Wahlberg jump rope ... Unenthusiastically.

Audio Files: A Tale Of Four Songs

    I ain't sayin', but I'm just sayin'.

After watching The Fighter, my ear and interest piqued to this familiar sound. I'm sure you've heard it before. Living in this age of mash-ups, dubstep and the era of more mixtapes and minimal albums -- it's hard to keep tabs on what should be considered an original work.

    Audio Files: Santogold "Shove It"

How could I forget to post some audio for the lingerers [thanks for the support by the by]? I'd been debating if I wanted to start another incredibly long [self-indulgent] music post as I did last year. Though the responses were great, I think smaller little informative posts [like I hope this one is] is a welcome change of pace. Also, if you would like to get lost in all-things-music on the site, just click the "Music" link in my "Stuff" menu.

Commercial Break: Killafornia vs Skill Methodz

Not even the end of January and I'm very close to calling this the battle of the year. If you've clicked on the Videos tab on the left you've probably noticed a couple videos and battles of Florida's Skill Methodz crew. This is the first battle I've seen of Killafornia in quite sometime and had no idea Lil John & Machine were apart of the crew.

Be that as it may, these words aren't really describing the clip itself. If you follow bboying then you know that this is one of those special kind of battles where you just have grin and happy you seen it [even if it is in video format]. Shame we couldn't get the final set, but I'm sure this will be enough to get me back on the floor.
