Killzone 2 Review -- High Definition Awful

With an immense amount of talent and money, Killzone 2 serves as a good example why superficial measures will always supercede any form of depth in a first-person shooter.

Piqued Interest: Brink and BB: Continuum Shift Trailers

I know I should probably be excited for the bigger games being released this year, but there is something about those smaller-big titles. Brink popped up in EDGE magazine a couple months ago and though I absolutely hate how every character's chin looks hearing that the game will be a 'futuristic, Team Fortress 2' kind of style has me reaching for my wallet.

I liked the first BlazBlue [clearly] even with all the problems that turns most gamers off to that Japanese aesthetic. In the trailer, after the break, be sure to check out the newest character and guess how Japanese this game is going to be. I'm giving it 8 out of 10 wasabi rolls prior to even playing the game.

    Close Range

We joke, but you know if it were an actual game that came out this holiday season there would be a ton of 15 year-old boys begging their older siblings to get it for them.  Another note: I'm always amazed at the level of production value that has been going into the Onion's faux reporting.  Just how much money are those guys making in their duck suits and exploding cigar offices?
