    Science Project: F**k Yeah Nouns!

It's only right. I guess I did talk a lot of smack about Dollhouse didn't I?

If you have some spare time to kill. Venture over to F**k Yeah Nouns. Apparently you can type in a name and I'm assuming the site searches public photos on Facebook and Twitter [which a little scary when you think about it]. This little science experiment pics the first photo found that has the tagged name you typed in. Pretty cool, huh?

    Commercial Break: Mouth Sparkle

Further solidifying that the world of aquatics is a strange place. Remember Ecco the Dolphin? Remember how freaking scary that was? Imagine a world where humans interacted with sea-life on a regular basis [well, besides eating them]. Actually, it might be kinda cool getting kissed by someone who's lips were mildly electrifying.

    Commercial Break: Ultra Sheen

By the time you are done with the 'Sheen-memes' in this post, you're gonna wish Mr. Wall Street had led a life of quiet solitude. Or if you're like me, you'll just keep rewatching the trainwreck to pinpoint -- yup, this is when we all officially wasted our time on this guy. Whatever the cause of you being here, know that after you click the jump, there's no turning back.

[also keep in mind I did this in 15-minutes time and may have missed a couple entries of note, so feel free to contribute]

Art You Might Hate: Paul Kuczynski

Satirical paintings that work, for the most part.

Taking a break from posting my weekly games-related essays and I found myself -- err -- finding Paul Kucynski's work on a polish site [link after the jump]. Here's the deal, I'm not a big fan of it. As a matter of fact, I'd go as far to say that around the fifth or six image -- I had the feeling that I got it

Some art isn't going to hit me in the gut like it use to. A lot of it comes from being jaded and admittedly misanthropic towards art trying to comment on humanity. "I know humans are responsible for their own demise, I don't need you to tell me Paul!"

But I kept clicking. I started noticing the tones and moods of his backgrounds. I noticed the cold and sterile use of his diagonals and triangles...daring my eye to not be guided to certain aspects of his work. I'm posting this. I think I'm wrong about Paul's work. I think he's right for commenting on humanity. Whether I want to hear it or not. Maybe you have an opinion too?

Reading Material: From Lil Jon's Downward Spiral To 'Boning'

Even Lil John's career wasn't safe from nimble, web-active fingers.

One of the main reasons it's hard for me to write [besides the 37 other hobbies I'm currently involved in] is because I'm trying to make a conscious effort to catch up on articles I should have read eons ago. Let's expand this limited vocubulary, right?

Seriously, every time I open up Google Chrome, I have a minimum of 13 tabs staring back at me. Maybe I do need to find that 25th hour in the day? Or, maybe there is this subconscious old-guy laying deep within the recesses of my cortex, begging me to read these amazing articles on a printed piece of paper. Maybe I'm just lazy?

Be that as it may, let this serve to the people who know me via the net as well as in real life [yes, I typed the whole thing, not that dumb ass 'IRL' abbreviation], that whenever I hear people say, "You post so much on Facebook or on Twitter!"

I'm always thinking, "You should see the stuff I don't post."

After the jump is a pool of articles that I've collected probably since last year. You'll probably notice that, though I visit 1up a great deal, I have yet to catch up on an 8th of their awesome, in-depth, cover stories. You'll also notice that I read a lot about human sexuality, because...well...people are f**king weird. But so am I.

Commercial Break: The New Dance Show

Okay, so my last post, a little heavier than I thought. Thanks for the kind e-mails. Looking back on it, I wonder if I should have posted it on multiple sites. "Shoot from the hip and speak from the heart." Something my mom always taught me [for better or worse]. Thanks for sticking with me, some thought it went over as well as a fart in church.

Here, this should lighten your week. A ridiculous clip of people dancing. I think that's what it's called right?

Edit: I just watched the clip again and I take it all back, this clip is f**king amazing!

    Video: Dead Island Trailer

I'm not usually a huge proponent of getting gushy over trailers -- of any kind. I feel it's a bad habit to fall into when a movie, or in this case -- game, is trying to sell you on its superficial qualities. This being said, there are exceptions to every rule. Dependant on how a film, or game, is presenting itself determines what the audience should take from it.

Commercial Break: Sanford Kelly & Yipes On Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

Updated on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 9:38PM by Registered CommenterIsaiah T. Taylor

Earlier tonight I posted a blog on 1up about the legendary [IFC] Yipes views, thus far, on Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Well, I'll be posting that video below and let you guys absorb all the info and formulate your own opinions about where you think the fighting game scene is going and on a smaller scale how you think this game is going to mature in the fighting game community.

Aside: Sorry for all the video as of late. I've been really busy, actually working on art and stuff for the site. [Damn, actually feels good to say that.] It also doesn't help that I'm a huge fighting game fan and am enjoying my own personal Christmas ... what with all the fighting games being released in this generation.

More curly mustaches after the jump...
