Palin/Obama playable characters in Mercs 2

Well...I'm not exactly sure if this will bet us kids in the States to vote or not, but if anything else...this is weird and cool enough for people to download and give these to classy dressed characters a couple plays. Right?

    Left 4 Dead TV Spot

Thanks to Joystiq.com for this video.

[if you're not psyched for a zombie filled, co-op leaning game, then you probably don't play games in the first place]

Finally Odin Sphere Is In The Fold!

I have no idea of what is going on here...

Ridiculous amounts of joy are pinching the outer edges of my cheeks [face].  Finally, rounding out my already epic PS2 collection in a more nerdy way [see...its more nerdy when you just purchase a PS2 a year ago].  I'm looking to do the same with the PS3 when I:

    A) Sony realizes they have COMPLETELY gaffed a perfect console [PS3] by confusing customers by placing four...that's right, 4 PS3 SKU's in their faces and a good majority of which overpriced and/or lacking key features that make the PS3...well...the PS3.  Anywhoo...either Sony quits and I can go down to my local shop [or ebay] and cop a PS3 for a fraction of the price they are currently asking for.

    B) I win a PS3 in some sort of awesome Redball sweepstakes. In which, case I can stop borrowing my friends and subsequently start RockBand Monday's in order to make up for all the time wasted/spent/leaching when using theirs

    C) I hit the lottery and get a solid gold house for my mom. Buy the LHC for my little sister because she likes the pictures i e-mail of it. And THEN...get the proper flat screen in order for games & Blu-Ray's to look awesome then...and only then...that is when I'll purchase a PS3.

    Major Layoffs & Cancellations @ Revision3.com

Revision3 Beta is still a go, but some mainstays got axed

One of my favorite networks [web and otherwise] suffered great losses this weekend.

For our long-running Photoshop show Pixel Perfect, it’s the end of a show that’s done over a hundred episodes, and delivered essentially a graduate level course in graphic design and technique. For PopSiren and Internet Superstar, it’s the end of 2 shows that had great promise, but never really found their audience.

For two of the shows, we’re simply stopping our distribution agreement, but the shows will live on. You’ll still be able to watch Epic Fu, and Wine Library, both at their own sites, and through new and existing distribution partnerships. Epic Fu will be available on Revision3 through mid December, Wine Library ends its Revision3 run today. We remain huge fans of these two shows, even though they don’t fit our long-term plans at Revision3.

    ------------------

One of my favorite shows Pixel Perfect along with: Pop Siren and Internet Superstar are gone. Pop Siren was growing on me and I kind of agree with the Internet Superstar choice.  IS never really found its audience and I was definitly not in their demo. Epic Fu and Wine Library TV were two shows that for some reason, reminded me of MTV when they first started in the late 80's and taking chances with really good talent interspliced with quality production. They will be missed by this viewer.

If you've never heard of these shows...or stumbled upon this site to catch up on some really cool and informative shows click this link for the show archives.

Hopefully this isn't foreshadowing for some sort of Podcast version of the 'dot com bust'

Artist O' The Day - Justin Aerni

Man...i'm very close to puking right now...

In the spirit of Halloween, what would this years peak Autumn Holiday [HA! Take that Thanksgiving Day] be without some eerie and creepy visuals.  Justin Aerni is an awesome photography, but I had NO idea he was into sculptures as much as he was/is! More specifically, baby heads? And the many variations of said baby heads.

After The Jump [his site] and more baby heads!

NSFW - Amy Sedaris on "Female Cleanliness"

Rare photos of Miss Sedaris Not Making A Funny Face...

Confession time.  As a young black man in this crazy mixed up world.  It's hard to admit you may be into around other men...and other black men.  Let me tell you this...aside from my mom and sis, my girl and cohorts...I love me some Amy Sedaris. Homegirl has style, grace and a fair amount of raunch on the side.

After the jump is a clip of her on Chelsea Handler's show "Chelsea Lately".  Talking about her book, "I Like You: Hospitality Under The Influence"...one of the topics covered is...errrmm...well...you know...the naughty part?...The one down there...that women have?...

    Mystery Science Theater Ultra Shwag

I don't know if there are any fans out there that read this that are THAT into Mystery Science Theatre 3000, but it seriously is the sh*t in my world.  I guess they have some sort of anniversary collection edition [mouthfull?] coming out this Tuesday.  One of the few privileges @ my job is watching/testing/playing dvds/games before they come out [I want to say, "I'm living the life", but I'm soooo not]. Check out all this stuff below that you got for the low, low price of 60 dollars [source of price: the rental store where I work, overcharges so it forces customers to rent instead of buy]

    SNL Weekend Update: Palin/Bush/McCain etc.

Guess I'm late to the party in regards to SNL's weekend update [thanks Bobbito].  This week we see Will Ferrell to his now, nearly trademarked impression of George Jr. I'm always amazed at how well Mark Hamill can do impersionations...eerily good.  The rest of the show is pretty much standard SNL...although the "Jam The Vote!" sketch got me to chuckly with puke humor.

Gears of War 2 Trailer: Last Day

Wow...kind of weird. Maybe Cliffy B wasn't blowing smoke about there being a better story in this newest installment of GoW. I still have an issue of this hyper-square jawed layout of how these bulky [and hulky] characters look.  Be that as it may, I had a good ass time playing the last Gears and it looks like this one is; at the very least, going to deliver a similiar experience.

And now to buy an xbox 360...

MMA: Elite XC folds and the UFC still sucks!

Will this be the last time we see Kimbo...winning?

Sad news? Well...it isn't the greatest news to here today.  Dave Meltzer of Yahoo! Sports reported today of the news of mixed-martial arts organization EliteXC is unfortunately [or fortunately] closing its doors. From bad business deals with shareholders and fellow MMA company contributors to marketing an unprofessional fighter to fight 'over-the-hill' vets or 'unseasoned upstarts' looks to be what what did the more crassy than classy noob organization.

After the jump..."What about women's MMA?"
