    Things You Should Check out

    Music Wise:

I may be late, but I'm at least posting something.  Just in case the 7 of you reading this site didn't know.  My writing skills [or lack thereof] have been being spread at The Start Screen and the Pro Photo Show blogs.  My new favorite site has enlightened me to some new soul and funk music.  I strongly suggest you check out the free audio samples for Baby Charles and Kokolo.

Also, for the uniniated, if you write or just find yourself working in front of a computer for an extended period of time, you should check out Soul Strut. They've got some great mixes to write to, cook to, dance to...and most recently do your taxes to.

    Podcasts:

Personal heroes and enemies [because i'm deeply envious of them] in Shawn Elliot, Jeff Green, Robert Ashley, Luke Smith and N'Gai Croal have managed to take time out of their very long days to create a video game podcast specifically dedicated to NOT talking bout video games [they do anyway though].

You can find their podcast on iTunes as well as their website: Mexicuted Hepitacos

It really is one of the best podcast I've heard [in general] in a while.  Underground hiphop, Twitter, Resident Evil 5 and pranks are all covered in one podcast.

    Photography:

This past weekend I went to Nashville, TN to dance and photograph the goings on at the now world famous Bashville Stampede 5. The full photobucket link will come later.

    News:

Blender Mag died today.  I liked it when I read it. For more about the end of yet another publication read this article.
